UP and BBC to host live screenings of Obama’s swearing-in ceremony

The inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States on Tuesday, Jan. 20, in Washington, D.C., will be an historic occasion.

The FIU community can watch live screenings of the ceremony in several locations across University Park and Biscayne Bay Campus beginning at 11 a.m.

University Park: GC Art Gallery, GC Pit, GC Ballrooms, GC Game Room, GC 243, the Faculty Club, and in The Green Library (on the large screen TV screen on the first floor of the library behind the escalators as well as on the second floor in GL 237).

Biscayne Bay Campus: Panther Square and in the Mary Ann Wolfe Theater, which can seat 300 viewers.
