Spring Break-style game of Life encourages responsibility, fun

On Wednesday, March 4, the Wellness Center at University Park will host a life-sized version of the board game Life. The event will be held in Everglades Hall at 7:01 p.m.

Students will get the chance to be life-sized game pieces in a Spring Break-style board Game of Life that will demonstrate the ups and downs spring breakers can have. The game is being put on by Casandra Roache, senior health educator, and sponsored by the Wellness Center.

“You can either stay home or go on Spring Break,” says Roache. “The main point of the game is to make it safely back to FIU.” Roache adds that there will be some fun twists to the game.

“You might win a wet T-shirt contest or you might get kidnapped,” she says. “Your friend might fall off a balcony or you might get free scuba diving lessons.” Roache hopes the game will prepare Golden Panthers for a safe, yet fun Spring Break.
