MEDIA ALERT- Board of Trustees Meeting


MIAMI (June 11, 2009) – The Florida International University Board of Trustees will meet on Friday, June 12th, 2009 at 9 a.m. to make final decisions on the 2009-10 budget, including possible program closures. 

The Board also will decide on a number of other critical issues:

  • Tuition and fee increases to address budget shortfalls
  • The election of new board officers
  • Major action regarding the College of Medicine
