Instead of cutting programs, you should consider cutting other expenses; I am sure there are plenty of salaries, especially, that are being paid to the overheads that are ridiculous. These programs are important, if people, and I mean high payed people, really cared they should see this and admit it.

So let me get this right…… We're cutting 11 programs but can afford to rename an entire campus? This doesn't add up

i do not apprecite the choices that have been made. the community and country are requiring more and more educators and degress which require a high level of thinking and computations. why are you cutting them out. and on top of that why are they cutting what makes a D1A school big and notice able. Its the big sports of football and basket ball and what makes them, complete. A BAND and CHEERLEADERS as well as the team its self. So bring back whats important to the america society and bring back what gives fiu their heart and spirit

I believe more consideration should be given to closing program like Religion versus others like Mathematics, Science, Physical or Occupational Therapy. You should attempt to reconsider the importance of degrees in each of those fields for the education of upcoming grade and high school students.
