Hundreds of students cheered and danced at an ice cream social celebrating Mark B. Rosenberg’s installation as FIU’s fifth president. The event, held in the GC Pit at Modesto A. Maidique Campus, gave Rosenberg an opportunity to address students directly and unveil the new Panther mural that graces the Pit’s wall.
