Freshman Convocation starts a new era for FIU

The university’s 10th Annual Freshman Convocation ‘celebrates who we are,’ says incoming President Mark B. Rosenberg.

On Sunday, Aug. 23, FIU’s 10th Annual Freshman Convocation will formally welcome the Class of 2013 to the university. Faculty, staff, freshmen and their parents are invited to celebrate this rite of passage just a day before fall classes begin.
