FIU Structures and Construction Testing lab gets generous gift, new name

On Sept. 14, Titan America LLC, the premier cement and building materials producer in the eastern United States, presented FIU a $250,000 gift – worth $500,000 with state match. The donation will support FIU’s Structures and Construction Testing Laboratory in the College of Engineering and Computing.

In recognition of the gift, FIU renamed the laboratory the Titan America Structures and Construction Testing Laboratory.
