If you have tried to access our news Web site previously on your smart phone, you may have found it a bit difficult to navigate. We recently added mobile functionality to newsarchives.fiu.edu.
Using the browser on your Blackberry, iPhone or other smart mobile device, you may now browse, read and even post comments with ease. The website will detect your mobile device and format accordingly.
If you are an email subscriber, remember you may now click on stories and interact with them easily on your mobile device.

We ended up using a plugin called wordpress mobile edition. This way blackberry users could access it as well.

That is great as there is no doubt web-users are using their phone more often nowadays to access the internet, Blackberries and Iphones's are everywhere so this added functionality will be beneficial for all concerned.
I find that the iPhone is fantastic with all these little apps, being able to do pretty much everything on the move is fantastic. You can attend to pretty much anything, anywhere, anytime! The future has arrived and I love it! 🙂
