Soledad O'Brien has millions of "fans", including yours truly, and is certainly an able presenter regarding the diversity issues that are a part of everyday life in America. We here in Maricopa County live in the shadow of an infamous Sheriff who persists in racial profiling, assuming that if you "look" like an Hispanic person, you deserve to be pulled over and rousted. "Sheriff Joe" takes pleasure exhibiting his trademark "in your face" attitude to any media that he can get in front of. Amazingly, many Phoenix voters have continued to support a character of that ilk, based on their own inability to deal with the existent and growing diversity of the USA. As Arizona's population changes - and it is changing rapidly - most residents of this beautiful state will realize that America was built on immigrant's contributions throughout its history.
