I Feel the Pride Because: Alberto Padron ’98, MBA ’09

FIU is pretty great – and the success stories of our alumni, students, faculty/staff and administrators, family and friends are the best testament to that fact.

By submitting their “I ‘Feel the Pride’ Because…” stories, Panthers everywhere can share their own stories of how they “Feel the Pride.”

We hope to hear from you soon.

I Feel the Pride Because - Alberto PadronAlberto Padron ’98, MBA ’09, director of integrated marketing at Zubi Advertising: FIU is the perfect metaphor for Miami and an accurate representation of me: It is young, vibrant, intelligent, determined, capable and inspirational. I “Feel the Pride” in every brick that is placed to build yet another new structure for the best and brightest in our local, national and international community to attend, learn and grow. I “Feel the Pride” in every new academic height FIU reaches, be that ascension in a prestigious ranking or a breakthrough in innovation in countless areas of study. I “Feel the Pride” when our world is made a better place in any way and a Panther had something to do with it. And yes, I “Feel the Pride” when I see FIU competing in athletics. When I am unable to attend a game in person, I particularly enjoy watching the ESPN score monitor crawling across the bottom of my TV screen and seeing an FIU victory in any sport. As a member of this community, I reflect the youth, vibrancy, intelligence, determination and aspiration that define FIU and that is why it is only natural to “Feel the Pride.”
