Swimming & diving team gives back

FIU’s Panthers took time off from the pool on Dec. 4 to participate in the Junior Orange Bowl Sports Ability Games in Miami Springs, where they conducted a stroke clinic per the organizers’ request.

“We are very grateful to organizers for including us in such a moving and inspiring event,” said head coach Noemi Lung-Zaharia. “We have been a part of this event for the past four years and we are looking forward to be involved for many years to come.”

FIU will return to the pool on Wednesday, Dec. 18 when the Panthers travel to Boca Raton for the FAU Invitational.
