FIU Theatre presents ‘A Lie of the Mind’

Sam Shepard’s play will be staged at MMC Jan. 28-31 and Feb. 11-14.

FIU Theatre will present its third production of the season, a production of Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind, Jan. 28-31 and Feb. 11-14. The play will be staged in the Studio Theater of the Wertheim Performing Arts Center at Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Showtimes 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

A gritty drama set in the rough American West, A Lie of the Mind tells the story of two families connected by marriage and torn apart by domestic violence. The play is under the direction of Wayne Robinson Jr., associate professor of theatre.
