Pic of the Week Jan.12-19

The Pic of the Week winner for Jan. 12-19, 2010, is Alex Cruz. The FIU architecture student took the winning photo of Modesto A. Maidique Campus while on an airplane coming back from Nicaragua last November.

“This campus has great views – for great imaginations and curious eyes,” Cruz said.

To submit your original photo for consideration, send it as an email to floridainternational@yahoo.com by 4 p.m. on Mondays for the following week’s contest. Only pictures that are FIU related and in good taste will be eligible.

The winner is chosen by popular vote (fans vote by “liking” their favorite) on FIU facebook to be featured in the news.FIU.edu media gallery and on facebook. Polls open on Mondays at 6 p.m. and remain open for voting until the following Monday at noon.

The Pic of the Week is announced Mondays at 1:30 p.m.
