“90210” star to visit FIU March 1

Shenae Grimes, a.k.a. Annie on The CW’s 90210, will make an appearance at the Graham Center Pit at Modesto A. Maidique Campus Monday, March 1, as junior denim brand L.e.i. searches for three model citizens to star in its next national ad campaign.

The actress is expected to be on campus from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

L.e.i. is inviting girls ages 15-21 to showcase their “life, energy and intelligence” by giving them the opportunity to shoot a short video that shows how they represent these attributes and why they should be the next L.e.i model citizen. 

In partnership with Fashion Delivers, a national charity that believes “giving is always in fashion,” L.e.i. is encouraging girls to pay it fashion forward. Attendees may bring a denim donation or give $5 at the event so that L.e.i. will donate a new pair of jeans to Fashion Delivers on their behalf. 

The first 25 girls to donate jeans at the event will receive a $50 gift certificate to Walmart.
