It’s international night for women’s basketball

FIU student-athletes represent 24 nations and Puerto Rico

The ladies of FIU basketball hope to continue their winning streak Wednesday, Feb. 24, when they play Middle Tennessee in the U.S. Century Bank Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

The team is riding a six-game winning streak and coming off a 59-42 win over FAU to sweep the Owls for the season.

Wednesday’s game is “International Night” and will celebrate the diversity of FIU and the Athletic Department, which has student-athletes from 24 countries and Puerto Rico. FIU’s international students are encouraged to come out to the game and represent their respective countries.
