We now have the first three weeks of results, and FIU’s numbers seem to be slipping. Can FIU pick its game up to make a comeback in the weeks ahead?

Here are the results for week three:

Gorilla Prize – Highest gross tonnage of recyclables -2nd out of 11 Florida schools and 33rd out of 305 in the nation. Last week FIU was 2nd in the state.

Per Capita Classic – Cumulative recyclables in pounds per person – 3rd out of 11 Florida schools and 115th out of 305 in the nation. Last week FIU was 3rd in the state.

Grand Champion – percentage of waste stream recycled – 3rd out of 10 Florida schools and 115th out of 243 in the nation. Last week FIU was 1st in the state.
