The FIU community is invited to a celebration of life for Kendall Berry on Monday, March 29, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The service will take place at the U.S. Century Bank Arena on the FIU Modesto A. Maidique Campus.
Kendall was exceptionally talented on and off the field. He was kind and had a future full of promise. In the short time he was with us, he made his mark on the community.
Kendall’s death has been devastating for the FIU family, and we hope that everyone who has been touched by this loss will participate in this commemoration of his life.
An education major, Kendall was killed Thursday evening outside the Recreation Center at Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Police arrested Quentin Wyche, 22, Friday evening and charged him with second-degree murder in connection with the case.
