In a new initiative to highlight the contributions of FIU working students to the university, FIU will celebrate Student Employment Week April 12-16. During that week, the university and its employees will acknowledge the contributions made by FIU student employees to the university.

As part of the celebration, the university created a “Student Employee of the Year Recognition Award.” The winner will be announced Friday, April 16. University employees have until March 12 to submit nominations. This is a great opportunity to recognize a student in your area who is contributing to the advancement of the university through his or her great work in a student-level position.

There are two ways to access the award nomination form: Visit the Human Resources site and download the “Student Award Nomination Form” or go to the Financial Aid site and download the “Student Employee Nomination Form.” Return your completed nomination no later than March 12 to: Division of Human Resources, PC 224, ATTN: Temporary & Student Employment Services.
