First of two forums addressing FIU’s strategic plan April 8

Share your ideas about the future of the university.

As part of FIU’s creation of a new strategic plan, the university is hosting an open forum Thursday, April 8.  The event is the first of two forums designed to generate ideas within and across each of the aspects of FIU’s next strategic plan. Its focus will be finance, infrastructure and student success.

The forum is from 10 a.m. to noon in CBC 232 at Modesto A. Maidique Campus. It will be simulcast to Biscayne Bay Campus in the WUC Ballrooms.

The second forum will be Wednesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Graham Center Ballrooms at Modesto A. Maidique Campus. It will be simulcast to Biscayne Bay Campus in the WUC Ballrooms. The focus of the April 14 forum will be the four strategic themes that will guide the plan’s creation — arts, environment, global and health.

Please visit the strategic planning Web site for further information, continued updates on the development of the plan and further opportunity to provide input to the plan.
