Former Panther Andy Leavine signs with Miami Dolphins

Former FIU tackle Andy Leavine has signed a free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins. Leavine will report to rookie mini-camp April 7.

Leavine started all 12 games his freshman year and went on to start 41 of 43 contests during his four years at FIU, including all 12 in 2009. His blue-and-gold career was versatile, playing guard and tackle on both sides of the line.

Leavine joins Antwan Barnes (Baltimore Ravens) and Chandler Williams (Kansas City Chiefs) as former FIU players currently under contract with NFL teams.
