FIU set to face Texas A&M in Coral Gables Regional

Tickets now on sale for entire Regional. First pitch for FIU is Friday at noon.

The FIU baseball team (36-23) will travel nine miles east to Coral Gables for its first NCAA Regional appearance since 2002.

By capturing the Sun Belt Conference championship Sunday against Troy, 14-0, FIU secured a berth in the NCAA Tournament and will face Texas A&M (40-19-1) Friday, June 4 at noon. FIU and Texas A&M previously met in the 1995 Coral Gables Regional; the Panthers defeated the Aggies 9-5.

Now on sale, ticket packages for the entire Coral Gables Regional are $90 for field box; $60 for chair-back; $45 for adult general admission; and $30 for youth, seniors and students. Individual day passes will go on sale later this week.
