In a nutshell: I oversee the Student Government Office, advise students on financial matters and assist them with student programming related to the college they represent.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Advising the students and seeing their projects become a success.

What do you think students and your fellow faculty/staff should know about your department?

We strive daily to ensure that our student population is being represented in matters related to university and statewide policies.

Where is your favorite spot on campus? Why?

The bridge near the Ryder Building. It is a great place to see wildlife.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about FIU?

I would like people to know that we have some of the most caring and talented staff members around.

How is FIU “Worlds Ahead”?

Seeing our diverse population of students and faculty, “Worlds Ahead” is the perfect way to describe our university and will enhance our future graduating classes’ experience at FIU.

Graduating from my master’s program.

I like to watch historical documentaries and collect antique maps.
