Faculty and staff: Get your $1 tickets today to FIU vs. WKU football game

FIU spirit is in the air, and engaged faculty and staff continue to dedicate themselves to the success of the university’s students. In recognition of that hard work and commitment to the spirit of blue and gold, FIU Athletics is hosting a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day with $1 admission tickets to the next home football game Saturday, Oct. 9, against Western Kentucky courtesy of Andy Frain Services. This afternoon game (3:30 p.m. kick off) is a great opportunity to enjoy one of fall’s great traditions — college football — with the entire family.

The Panthers begin conference play against rival WKU on Saturday, Oct. 9.

In addition to the popular tailgate village, hosted by the FIU Alumni Association, great door prizes will be given away at the end of the third quarter. Grand prizes include an all expense-paid trip for two to the North Texas football game Saturday, Oct. 16, in an exclusive chartered flight with the Panthers football team, as well as two roundtrip, economy class airline tickets within the continental U.S., Canada and Mexico. (Winners must be present to win. All door prizes limited to FIU faculty, staff and retirees only.)

The Athletics Department is selling tickets this week at the locations listed below. Faculty and staff musts present a valid FIU employee ID at the time of purchase.

Ticket Sales

Tickets may be purchased at two locations at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus: University Credit Union Box Office, located in the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse at the FIU stadium, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or in the Graham Center Pit (at a table), Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
