As the moment drew near for FIU to compete in its first bowl game, the 2010 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl, the university community took to the Internet to share this special moment. Back home, Panther fans celebrated the victory at the S Bar. Karen Cochrane of news.FIU.edu was there to capture the moment.
Within the hour, FIU’s Facebook fan page received more than 110,000 page views and more than 1,000 comments and “likes” congratulating the team on their success.
