FIU volleyball included in ESPN’s Year in Photos

Congrats to photographer Sam Lewis. His photo of pre-match drills between members of the FIU women’s volleyball team was featured in ESPN’s 2010 Year in Photos gallery.

Lewis took the shot Sept. 24 in the U.S. Century Bank Arena as the team –including Una Trkulja (7) – was prepping for its match with conference rival University of Denver. The drills must have worked: The Panthers defeated the Pioneers, 3-0 (29-27, 25-16, 25-20).
