What do you think students and your fellow faculty/staff should know about your department?

FIU’s is one of the Top 5 hospitality schools in the world. One of the only schools in the world that has campuses in two different continents, with two different cultures and time zones that still offer the same high-quality education and learning experience to their students. Where is your favorite spot on campus? Why?

I actually enjoy the whole of Biscayne Bay Campus. We are renovating an area that will be known as the Carnival Student Center. This will be one of the best student centers with the best view, facilities and technology. I believe that when it is finished, it will be one of my favorite spots. It will allow me to interact with students outside of the classroom environment.
