‘The Ruby Sunrise’ debuts Jan. 20

FIU Theatre is kicking off its spring season with The Ruby Sunrise, a Michael Yawney-directed play about how reality gets rewritten by the media.

In anticipation to opening night, two of the show’s stars, Daniel Nieves, 23, and Sarai Heria, 22, gave us a preview of a key scene between their characters.

The two FIU seniors (she is pursuing a bachelor’s in acting and he is a performance major) will be on stage in the Herbert & Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center at Modesto A. Maidique Campus from Jan. 20-30.
