The Student Government Association at Biscayne Bay Campus will host on Wednesday, Jan. 12, author and activist Dan Savage.
The sex-advice columnist – his popular “Savage Love” can be found at TheStranger.com – is the founder of the It Gets Better campaign, which spreads positive messages to the LGBT community about coming out, being gay and a healthy sense of self in the face of bullying.
He will speak in the WUC Ballroom at FIU’s north campus, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., as part of the SGA-BBC Lecture Series. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to everyone, but tickets are required for admission. Tickets may be picked up at the WUC Information Desk, the BBC Campus Life & Orientation office in WUC 141, the SGC BBC office in WUC 301 and the SGC office at Modesto A. Maidique Campus in GC 211.

He's a marketing genius! Can't wait to see him! 🙂
