FIU Executive in Residence Gustavo A. Cisneros conducts colloquium with graduate students during campus visit


Gustavo A. Cisneros, chairman of  the board of directors of The Cisneros Group of Companies, conducted an informal discussion and question-and-answer session March 10 with a group of Chapman Graduate School of Business students following meetings Cisneros held with officials here at Florida International University.

Cisneros is currently serving as Executive in Residence at the FIU College of Business. His visit to the Chapman Graduate School was focused on meeting with International MBA and Master of International Business students.

In addition to the question and answer session with graduate students, Cisneros met with FIU President Mark Rosenberg at the Reagan House. He also toured the Modesto A. Maidique campus with Assistant Dean Annabelle Rojas and met with Provost and Executive Vice President Douglas Wartzok.

The College of Business Administration offers a total of 14 master’s-level programs, including the fully online Corporate MBA. Programs take place at the FIU Pines Center in Broward County and the Downtown Center as well as at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

The Cisneros Group is proud to be associated with FIU, the Chapman School and the growing community of business leaders, educators and scholars in Miami. The Group has a long standing relationship with the Miami business community and has built production studios in Florida where it recently launched the highly successful Eva Luna telenovela, now appearing in prime time on Univision. This project was fully developed and executed from start to finish in Florida.
