Pic of the Week April 5

The Pic of the Week winner for April 4-11 is Edward Delgado. He will receive a gift certificate for a 10 minute massage at Waves Spa at Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Delgado is a photographer and a sophomore at FIU, majoring in Finance. He was inspired by FIU’s branding campaign, Worlds Ahead. “I photographed a friend of mine floating above the world, pushed to great heights by her education.”

To submit your original photo for consideration for the contest, send it as an e-mail to fiusocialmedia@gmail.com by noon Sunday for the following week’s contest. Only pictures that are FIU-related and in good taste will be eligible.

The winner is chosen by popular vote (fans vote by “liking” their favorite) on FIU’s Facebook page to be featured in the news.FIU.edu media gallery and on Facebook. Polls open on Mondays at 6 p.m. and remain open for voting until the following Monday at noon.

The Pic of the Week is announced Mondays at approximately 1:30 p.m.
