Pic of the Week May 3

The Pic of the Week winner for April 25 – May 2 is Dayana Iglesias, whose aerial photo of the Biscayne Bay Campus received 59 votes.

“I took this picture at 10:30 a.m. from the third floor breezeway between Academic I and Academic II,” said Iglesias. “As I looked around, I saw this magnificent view and wondered, ‘Why would ANYONE want to go to school ANYWHERE else?'”

To submit your original photo for consideration for the contest, send it as an e-mail to fiusocialmedia@gmail.com by noon Sunday for the following week’s contest. Only pictures that are FIU-related and in good taste will be eligible.

The winner is chosen by popular vote (fans vote by “liking” their favorite) on FIU’s Facebook page to be featured in the news.FIU.edu media gallery and on Facebook. Polls open on Mondays at 6 p.m. and remain open for voting until the following Monday at noon.

The Pic of the Week is announced Mondays at approximately 1:30 p.m.
