Ready for court

FIU College of Law graduated 175 lawyers May 27 at MMC’s U.S. Century Bank Arena. Many of the new alumni have already secured positions at major law firms and public interest organizations throughout Miami and the surrounding counties.

Graduates were hooded by professors Scott Fingerhut (left) and Scott Norberg (right).

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles T. Canady welcomed the graduates to the law profession.
