Commencement got underway early May 2 with the first of six ceremonies that ran through the evening of Tuesday, May 3. Kicking off two days of celebration were undergraduate, master’s and doctoral candidates from the College of Education, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Graduates walked across the stage at the U.S. Century Bank Arena at Modesto A. Maidique Campus in front of thousands of family and friends.

Makes me more anxious for my turn!! Can’t wait for 2012!!!
Thanks to FIU? There are so many students who can’t afford your tuition and you don’t do anything for them.
I’m sorry but I wouldn’t say thanks to FIU. I love the professors and the people I met along the way but Miami Dade College did so much for me than you guys.
I am very excited to be starting just the FIU, it is one of my dreams on graduation day, ofcourse I will!
Great video!
