Campus road closures on Friday


Two events  may disrupt traffic on campus on Friday, June  10 beginning at 7 a.m.

FIU will be hosting a high school graduation at the U.S. Century Bank Arena and the Gold Cup soccer games at the stadium. Please keep in mind the following road closures as you plan your Friday commute:

  • ·         S.W. 17th St.  in front of the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center will be closed. Only guests attending the Gold Cup event will be allowed access and those guests will be detoured through Lot 6 and out to Tamiami Park. 
  • ·         S.W. 17th St. and S.W. 113th Ave in front of Panther Hall will be closed. No one heading east will be permitted to turn left. 
  • ·         S.W. 17th St. and 115th Ave. in between CSC and the baseball field will be closed. 
  • ·         S.W. 113th Ave and the corner of S.W. 11th St will be closed for the high school graduation. Local traffic will be allowed only heading south for university business.
