Alumnus receives prestigious Jefferson Award


One of the nation’s highest honors for community service and volunteerism was awarded to Oscar Grau ’03, PMBA ’10 for the work he has done through FLIP, FIU Leadership in Practice.

Alumnus Oscar Grau, one of 103 recipients nationwide to receive a Jefferson Award, spoke at the recognition ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Grau, a graduate of the College of Business Administration, was among 103 recipients from around the country presented with a Jefferson Award in a ceremony in Washington D.C. on June 20. This award is widely regarded as the Nobel Prize for Public Service.
