Faculty Group Practice opens new offices in PG5

The FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine Faculty Group Practice (FGP) is open for business in its new home in PG5-Market Station at Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

The 6,100-square-foot offices feature 10 patient exam rooms, which are all ADA compliant. Physicians can access patient records from the exam rooms. This new location allows FGP to offer expanded medical services that include radiology and laboratory testing.

The FGP opened in 2009 as a place for the College of Medicine faculty physicians to provide faculty and staff with primary care, preventive care and specialty care, as well as management for chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. They accept all insurance plans offered through FIU. Standard copayments will apply.

The group’s office hours are:

Monday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday 8 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
