Hair-raising home opener

Kelly Ann Hutchinson provided some hair-raising moments at the women’s soccer home opener Sunday, Aug. 21. The Panthers faced off against ninth-ranked University of Florida, losing 2-0. Hutchinson, a senior defender, was denied a goal on a header attempt in the 86th minute of the match.

The Panthers look to earn their first victory of the young season Saturday, Aug. 27, against Akron. Game time 7 p.m.
