Dunk the dean postponed

Lambda Chi Alpha’s dunk-a-thon scheduled for Monday, Oct. 17, has been postponed due to weather. A new date for the annual fundraiser, which benefits the North American Can Food Drive, will be announced soon.

College of Arts & Sciences Dean Kenneth G. Furton was the highlight of last year’s event, spending more than an hour in the tank donning a full suit and tie.

Furton promises to make a repeat appearance whenever the event is rescheduled. And he isn’t the only who plans to take a plunge. Members of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity also promise to take to the tank during the event.
