New portal makes it easier to LivetheArts at FIU

Consider this news rated Art for art-mazing: FIU has launched LivetheArts.com, a new portal that will serve as the hub for everything artistic at the university.

No longer will FIU arts aficionados have to surf numerous websites to find out what’s coming up in, say, the worlds of FIU Music and FIU Theatre, or at the Frost Art Museum or The Wolfsonian-FIU. No – now, every event, every opening will be listed on this new site for easier access.

“LivetheArts.com is a centralization of anything and everything our community and supporters will want and need to know when it comes to the arts at FIU,” said Terry Witherell, vice president of External Relations. “We wanted every student, alumni, faculty/staff and friend of FIU to have a one-stop shop where they could find information about our upcoming artistic events, which are not to be missed.”

The FIU Web Communications-designed LivetheArts.com is live now, so visit it now and visit it often. It updates automatically by pulling filtered information from the main FIU events calendar, so you can rest assured it is up to date.
