Police situation at MMC

A police situation is developing at Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC) that prompted the InformaCast message earlier.

Police pursued a suspect on to the Natural Preserve area of MMC this afternoon. The person is believed to be unarmed; FIU police isolated the area.

All members of the university community are urged to stay away from the wooded area on the west side of the campus.
