“Employers often tell us that some of their companies’ best performers are FIU graduates,” said Dawn Lazar (MS ’06), assistant director for FIU’s Career Management Services at the School of Accounting.
FIU hosted the Ahead of the Game Accounting and Business Expo on Sept. 29. More than 370 students registered for the event, giving them an ideal chance to interact with representatives from thirty highly rated companies. The Expo lets recruiters meet ideal candidates from FIU’s accounting, finance and management information systems (MIS) programs.

That must have been such a wonderful experience for all those 370 students. Not only were they able to meet representatives coming from highly rated companies, they got to learn a lot from the expo about accounting, finance and MIS. That event could really help them in their career.
