‘Crossing the Boundaries: Art & Music’ lecture continues Nov. 16


The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum presents the next installment of Crossing the Boundaries: Art & Music with Ted Kahn for his lecture titled, “The Art & Science of Mindseums: From The Magic Theater to the Creation of Globally Connected Museum of the Future.” The lecture series will take place Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at The Frost Art Museum at FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus located at 10975 SW 17 Street, Miami, FL 33199. The event is free and open to the public.

Kahn is the co-founder, president and CEO of DesignWorlds for Learning, Inc. and a co-founding principal of CapitalWorks, LLC. Ted and his DesignWorlds team has been involved in marketing and developing ground-breaking uses of interactive technologies for lifelong learning for more than 30 years. He is known internationally as a visionary in action-research projects involving technology and learning in elementary and higher education, homes, workplaces and museums.

Kahn speaks and conducts workshops frequently at national and international conferences on the topics of creative education, technology and learning. He consults for Fortune 500 companies, museums, school districts, and non-profit organizations, and has been a board member or advisor for numerous museums, government organizations, and public-private collaborations.
