FIU closes football season with record win, awaits bowl decision


The FIU Panthers set a new record as they closed the regular football season 8-4 with a 31-18 win over the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on Nov. 26.

The victory was made possibly by 185 rushing yards, led by Kedrick Rhodes’ 117 and Jeremiah Harden’s 46. Both running backs had one touchdown apiece.

On defense, FIU came up with two interceptions, one from Gregory Hickman and one from Justin Halley, who also added seven tackles.
