FIU Health’s Faculty Group Practice is vaccinating faculty and staff who wish to receive the shot. Practice hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m to 5 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The flu shot is covered by insurance and no copayment is required. Others may get the vaccine at a nominal cost. To make an appointment, call 305-348-DOCS. Walk-ins are also welcomed.
