Jamaican dance group coming to BBC March 22

Don't miss a one-night only performance by Jamaica's Company Dance Theatre at BBC on March 22.

An exciting cross-cultural exchange will take place under the spotlight Thursday, March 22, when The Company Dance Theatre from Kingston, Jamaica, comes to the Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC).

Now in its 23^rd season, the company will perform a variety of pieces from its repertoire, including traditional Afro-Caribbean movements and classical modern dance.

Tony Wilson, the company’s founder and artistic director, will lead a troupe of 18 dancers onto the stage at the Wolfe University Theater at 8 p.m., as part of this performance hosted by the BBC Student Programming Council

Admission is free and open to the public.
