Growing up as a foster child is never an easy path. Then comes turning 18 — and the challenges that come with aging out of the system.
Thanks to the help of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Miami program and dedicated team members like FIU’s Yolanda Rodriquez ’07, MBA ’10 — assistant director of operations, advancement, alumni and corporate relations at the College of Business Administration — area foster children are getting the support they need to become successful adults.
