1. Fond of nature
FIU’s Nature Preserve is known for its beauty, and you can be a part of it keeping it beautiful by coming out to a Nature Preserve Volunteer Workday. 2. Running up an appetite
The 25th annual Turkey Trot will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21 at our BBC campus. Sign up for the 3-mile run or 2-mile walk starting 1 p.m.; race begins at 2 p.m. Contact BBC Recreation for details or to pre-register.

3. Giving thanks
The university will be closed Nov. 22-23 for the Thanksgiving holiday. AAA estimates that 43.6 million Americans will travel more than 50 miles from home for the Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 21-25), with 90 percent of them hitting the road. Drive safe!

4. Last chance
Cheer on your FIU football team at their last football game of the season. The Panthers take on the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) Warhawks at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24.
