Dipak Jain to discuss spiritual entrepreneurship


Dipak Jain, one of the world’s leading figures in business, entrepreneurship, marketing and management, will deliver a lecture entitled “Spiritual Entrepreneurship,” at 6 p.m., Nov. 14 in the Ruth K. and Shepard Broad Auditorium in the School of International and Public Affairs Building. The event is the inaugural Mahavir Nirvan Lecture presented by the Bhagwan Mahavir Professorship in Jain Studies.

Jain is the dean of INSEAD-Paris, the top business school in Europe, and was formerly dean of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also courtesy professor of Jain Studies at FIU and was honored with an honorary doctorate at FIU’s spring commencement. He has taught courses and published extensively on marketing research, new products and services, and statistcal models in marketing.

The lecture is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

The lecture is co-sponsored by the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business Administration, School of International and Public Affairs, Department of Religious Studies, the Program in the Study of Spirituality and the Jain Education and Research Foundation.
