FIU Health show debuts Jan. 20

The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Univision are joining forces to launch a Spanish language radio program beginning this Sunday.

“A Tu Salud” (For Your Health) will air at 10 a.m. on Sundays on Univision América Miami, 1140 AM.

The half-hour program will feature HWCOM doctors and other FIU experts sharing their knowledge on timely and important health and medical issues.

The show’s inaugural guest will be Jorge Fleisher, MD, HWCOM Director of Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Fleisher is an infectious disease specialist and will be discussing the topic of vaccines for adults.
