Professor journeys to Bahrain


Meredith Newman recently attended the gala dinner during the Joint Congress of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) in Bahrain. Newman, the senior associate dean for the College of Arts & Sciences and professor of Public Administration, serves as IASIA’s vice president for North America and was recently elected to a second-term to the organization’s Board of Management. While in Bahrain, she got a first-hand look at a falcon, the symbol of traditional life in Bahrain.
